Paddle Clash

Paddle Clash is a free paddle and ball game in the spirit of the old arcade tennis games. It runs in your browser on a phone, tablet or computer, with nothing to download.

Your paddle sits at the bottom of a glowing neon court and a bot guards the top. Drag your finger, move the mouse, or use the arrow keys or A and D to slide the paddle and keep the ball in play. Where the ball meets your paddle sets its angle: the middle sends it straight back, the edges send it flying towards the sides. Every hit makes the ball a little faster, so long rallies get tense. Get the ball past the bot to score, and the first player to 5 points wins the match.

There are 12 levels, each against a different bot, and every level changes the arena. Some have floating power-ups that you grab by hitting them with the ball: a wide paddle, a fast shot or a slow ball. Others add round bumpers that knock the ball off course, a sliding wall with a gap to aim through, two balls at once, curve shots that bend when you move your paddle as you hit, or paddles that shrink with every point. A short rule card explains each twist before the match starts.

Win a level to unlock the next one and earn up to three stars by keeping the bot's score low. Tips: hit with the paddle edge to send the ball away from the bot, move early on fast balls, and watch the bounce off the side walls.
